It all started in our backyard, flipping burgers for friends and family just for fun. What began as small pop-ups around Kemang quickly grew into something bigger. Through every pop-up, we kept experimenting and improving while staying true to one simple idea: to make honest, unpretentious burgers that people can enjoy.

first home in tebet

In 2023, we found our first real home in Tebet with our friends at Pizza Place. Shoutout to them for letting us share their space and for being part of the start of this new chapter. For the first time, we weren’t just running weekend pop-ups.

We’re grateful to everyone who believed in us early on and offered their space for us to cook, experiment, and share our burgers. We just kept doing what we love, and somehow it grew into something bigger than we imagined.

We were flipping burgers every single day. The shift was huge, and it taught us what it really means to be fully operational. We learned the rhythm of it all: the rush hours, the slow days, and everything in between. Some days were packed, some were quiet, but each one taught us something new. That time in Tebet taught us everything: consistency, discipline, and what it really takes to run a kitchen day in and day out. It’s where Dan’s found its groove.

We’ve finally found home in Dharmawangsa. Our brick-and-mortar spot has grown into a true neighborhood joint, where familiar faces keep coming back and new ones join in every day. We’re lucky to share the block with our friends at Kaneki, keeping the good coffee and burger energy flowing side by side. It’s been especially exciting to see familiar faces from our early pop-up days still stopping by for a bite.

Our Staff

It is just as rewarding to see our team grow, one person at a time, alongside us.

Every day brings a mix of people — young families, people squeezing in time during their lunch break, moms grabbing lunch before school pick-up and friends catching up after work. That’s what we love most about being here.

We still do what we’ve always done: freshly ground patties, hand-cut fries, and honest cooking. It’s the place where Dan’s finally feels settled, surrounded by good people, good food, and good energy.

Inspired by the classic American smashburger and Californian flair, we care deeply about what goes into each one. Our weekly pop-ups allowed us to figure out which cuts of meat worked best, what kind of buns held up just right, and how to make every bite better than the last. That process became our obsession.

We’re grateful to everyone who believed in us early on and offered their space for us to cook, experiment, and share our burgers. We never chased hype, but people kept showing up. We just kept doing what we love, and somehow it grew into something bigger than we imagined.
